Earlier this evening, a ‘mass shooting’ was reported at a Pennsylvania mall, just outside of the city of Pittsburgh.

The shooting took place inside the Monroeville Mall, which is located in the Steel City’s eastern district.

At a press conference held hours after the shooting, law enforcement personnel conceded that the shooter remains at large.

According to local residents, the area has become a hotbed for gang activity in recent days.

At least three individuals were reported to have been shot during the altercation, which police say was not a “random” act — two of the wounded are said to be in critical condition.

In the opening minutes following the first reports of gunfire, reports indicated an active shooter situation was ongoing inside the popular shopping destination.

One eyewitness to the violence was the Kansas City Chiefs’ new quarterback, Terrelle Pryor.  In a Tweet posted immediately following the incident, Pryor stated, “Didn’t see who was shooting. [I] saw two people drop though. I was looking, but ten more shots went off and was getting closer to me — then I ran.”

Pryor is a native of Jeannette, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh.

The mall, which opened in 1969, is a two-level, enclosed shopping mall in the municipality of Monroeville, Pennsylvania, east of Pittsburgh. It is located along heavily traveled U.S. Route 22 near the junction of Interstate 376 and the Monroeville interchange of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Monroeville Mall is most famous as the filming location for the movie Dawn of the Dead.

    • Before making blanket racist and culturally ignorant statements, check yourself. Do you realize that Arabic people and followers of the Islamic religion have children, love them, and worry about educating them and putting food in their mouths just like you do? Do you realize that they fear for their lives, just like you do. Do you realize that many of them are far more impoverished than you? That many of them are surrounded by more tenuous political situations than you? Do you realize that the hatred and ignorance that you allow yourself to feel is to blame for the fear and poverty that forces them into the position of responding to fulfill your expectations of them?

  1. Hunt him down and get rid of him. When he pulled that trigger at another human, he rescinded his right to be treated like a human and should instead be treated like the trash he is.

  2. You have to be freaking kidding me, stop with the whole racist bullshit, the world is filled with good AND bad people, if an American goes overseas their seen as an outsider, bad people don’t have a certain color they can be black, white, blue, orange, or any other damn race, god this shit is annoying, a mass shooting happens and all you people care about is over some stupid childish joke, fucking grow up America, or this generation is going to be more screwed up than you could ever imagine, now just pray for the families that have someone lost or injured by incidents like this around the world, it isn’t just here and it isn’t just done by any certain race, I don’t need anybody to side with me as I already know I’m right, grow the hell up
