Tenn. Cowboy Lassos Runaway Calf From Atop Sheriff’s Hood

When the Henry County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a runaway calf running down Highway 79, the Sheriff Monte Belew knew just who to call, “my ole buddy David Bevill.”

Bevill, wearing blue jeans and a cowboy hat, mounted the hood of the Sheriff’s cruiser and the duo raced to apprehend a wanted subject: a Black Baldy calf that had been eluding deputies.

Swinging his lasso atop the sheriff’s hood, Bevill roped the calf and soon had the subject detained…  all in a day’s work!
