This morning, the History Channel announced that Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, stars of the show “American Pickers” will be returning to the Mountain State in May 2017.

American Pickers is a documentary series that explores the fascinating world of antique “picking” on History.  The hit show follows Mike and Frank, tow of the most skilled pickers in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques. They are always excited to find sizeable, unique collection and learn the interesting stories behind them.

As they hit the back roads from coast to coast, Mike and Frank are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics. Along the way, the Pickers want to meet characters with remarkable and exceptional items. The pair hopes to give historically significant objects a new lease on life while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way.

According to a press release issued by Cineflix Productions, the company that produces the show, the duo is “ready to find extraordinary items and hear fascinating tale about them” in West Virginia.

Individuals who have or know of someone who may have a large, private collection or accumulation of antiques that the Pickers can spend the better part of the day looking through, they are encouraged to contact the show’s producers by sending their name, phone number, location and description of the collection with photos to: or call 855-OLD-RUST.

  3. Has anyone ever thought og getting together with the people who do the show Hoarding ? Somel of those properties they clean up and send the stuff to the dump look as good as the places Pickers visit. They say the people are sick and they are helping them but wouldnt it help them even more to recieve some money from their junk to go to helping them with treatment or new items for their homes ? Just a thought and so many things could be saved !

  4. Here’s wishing the “History” channel would stop picking over our stuff — and then insulting it.

Recent bumper sticker I saw up here in Beckley, WV:

    “History Channel Go Home!”

  5. If anyone knows how to contact Chad and Ty Moore, who were featured on the show, please let me know. I’m interested in buying an item that was in the background of their place during their segment on the episode. I’ve contacted the American Pickers through their website but they are not legally allowed to give out contact information or give my information to them.
    Thanks for any help!

    • Ty, I don’t know Franklin H. that posted, but I hope he will check back and see that you have posted your contact information. I figured when I posted on your facebook about his post, that would at least let you know that I had seen here that someone was hoping to get in touch with you. Too bad they did not leave contact information…. hopefully they will check back. Good luck.
