Wythe County residents now have a new option for auto repair and maintenance, as a new local business based in Fort Chiswell is pledging to provide customers with superior service without the wait.
Tommy Farley, who has worked as an auto mechanic for more than four decades has opened an auto garage inside the Exit 80 Exxon station, beside Burger King.
“Throughout my entire life, I’ve always had a passion for fixing people’s vehicles and keeping them running in top order — I’m excited to be able to provide quality service to the people of our community at affordable rates,” said Farley.
Conveniently located at the intersection of I-81/77’s Exit 80, Farley’s Garage is aimed at providing quality and affordable auto care without long waits.
“The thing that we’re most proud about is that if someone pulls in to have their oil changed, in about 20 minutes, they’ll be back on their way.”
In addition to providing oil changes, Farley’s Garage also specializes in tire sales, rotations, brake changes, and nearly all other jobs pertaining to vehicle maintenance.
“It’s no secret that the key to getting the longest life out of one’s vehicle is found in consistent and quality maintenance. Unfortunately, the long waits and hassles typically associated with a trip to an automobile repair shop often keep people from doing this — we’re setting out to change this,” said the business owner, adding, “The only thing we’re asking is for folks to give us one try and discover for themselves the difference in price and service.”
Farley’s Garage is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
