All Virginia Schools Ordered Closed for Two Weeks



Today, Virginia Governor Ralph Northam ordered all K-12 schools in Virginia to close for at least two weeks due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.

Schools in the Commonwealth will close beginning Monday, March 16, through Friday, March 27, at the minimum.

Localities in Virginia may extend this closure even longer should they desire.

West Virginia Governor Jim Justice  also announced today that schools in the Mountain State would be closed indefinitely in response to the virus.
